The Belle Repeater is On The Air!

With the help of Allan Sieker (AD0FT), we did final power and antenna wiring in the cabinet for the Belle Repeater.  We then installed the repeater, its controller and duplexer and were pleasantly greeted with a working repeater system.  I then contacted Jim Cleveland (KD0HXG) who was at work in Jefferson City and we had our first real QSO on the machine.

Only Talkgroup 9 is currently available on the machine as it does not as yet have a functioning Internet connection.  The exterior router for that should be arriving from Amazon tomorrow, Friday the 27th and with any luck, we can have this repeater on the net before the end of the weekend!
