First Repeater Is Added to the Network!

On Thursday, November 8th, 2018, our first repeater was turned up at its production site.  Known as “N0NOE (South)“, the Motorola MTR2000 was installed at Fidelity Communications in downtown Sullivan MO.  The installation went smoothly and initial operational reports are quite encouraging!

We are very fortunate to have such a good site for this new DMR repeater.  The antenna is located at the top of Fidelity’s tower, approximately 204 feet AGL.  Given the elevation at the site, that would put the antenna at about 1158 feet ASL.  Typical range for the 100 watt repeater is proving to be between 30 and 40 miles.
